Pedal into Summer: Wisconsin Bike Week Rolls in June 1-8

As the summer breeze returns to Milwaukee, there is no better way to enjoy the outdoors than on two wheels. Kicking off the season full of sunny days, warm air, and late sunsets, hop on your bike and participate in Wisconsin Bike Week, happening June 1-8, 2025.

What is Wisconsin Bike Week?
Wisconsin Bike Week brings Wisconsinites together to celebrate cycling - creating a fun, enjoyable, and empowering way to move and explore all across the state. Hosted by the Wisconsin Bike Federation, Wisconsin Bike Week offers a variety of lively, engaging, and unforgettable moments. With that said, let's get ready to wheel around town!

How to Join the Fun
Biking is so much more than a way to get from one point to another. Check out some of the cool events that the Wisconsin Bike Federation offers to participate!

Some highlight events are:

  • 2025 Mayor's Bike Ride: Join Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson in celebrating Wisconsin Bike Week on Thursday, June 5 from 8:30am-10am for a 5-mile bike, starting and finishing at Burnham Park!
     
  • Milwaukee Pride Ride: Partnering with Kuumba Juice & Coffee, Wisconsin Bike Federation will host their 10th annual Pride Bicycle Ride on Sunday, June 8 from 11:30am-1:15pm. Come early to grab a quick bite and drink before rolling down the streets of Milwaukee with pride!
     
  • Good On Tap: Not a cyclist but still want to support Wisconsin Bike Week? Head over to Triple Taproom & Kitchen, 2018 E. North Avenue, on Thursday, June 5 from 5pm-7pm for a pint! Every $1 spent on beer will be donated to the Wisconsin Bike Federation to support cycling in Wisconsin!
     
  • 2025 UPAF Ride for the Arts: Presented by Miller Lite, sign up to join UPAF as they bike the Hoan Loop Course! Prepare to have a blast on the road while supporting our region's performing arts organizations on Sunday, June 1! 
     
  • UEC Hank Aaron Bike Commuter Station: Cruise through Hank Aaron State Trail and stop by the Urban Ecology Center for some coffee on Tuesday, June 3 & Wednesday, June 4 from 7:30am-9:30am! Meet new people, chat, and bond over bikes!

Don't Own a Bike?
No problem! With over one hundred bike stations all throughout Greater Milwaukee, explore and grab one of Milwaukee's Bublr Bikes, and pedal through the streets with ease!
