Heroes Assemble at "Slice of Ice" on Saturday, Feb. 10 from 11 AM - 2 PM

Soaring back to "Slice of Ice" at Red Arrow Park for the third year, Downtown Ice CAPE-ade returns Saturday, February 10. This family-friendly event offers an epic way to zap the winter blues with free ice skating alongside some of your favorite supers and Milwaukee's mightiest heroes.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., guests can meet local heroes from the Milwaukee Fire Department and Milwaukee Police Department. Meanwhile, the DASH Speedskating Team will be on the ice sporting their alter egos. Five-time Olympic Gold Medalist Bonnie Blair and four-time Olympian Dave Cruikshank will also make appearances at the event representing the DASH Speedskating program that trains at the Pettit National Ice Center. It's certain to be an epic afternoon!
Participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite hero, whether it be a superhero character or a firefighter! A limited number of capes will be given away. Plus, free ice skate rentals, presented by WaterStone Bank, will also be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
