Summer Spinz in Red Arrow Park
Red Arrow Park’s “Slice of Ice” rink was reimagined as a community roller skating rink during the summer of 2023. “Summer Spinz” was held the third Friday of every month, June through August.
Guests were able to come early for free lessons taught by Roll Train, from 5 PM – 6 PM, followed by a Family Skate Hour from 6 PM – 7 PM. A House DJ then spun hits from 7 PM – 9 PM.
Milwaukee Rec’s Wacky Wheels Skate Van was on-site starting at 5 PM with free skate rentals available on a first-come, first-served basis. Vendors included Chillwaukee and Cottonmouth MKE.
