414 Day Mural
“Hometown Love is What We’re Made Of” by Sid Ylagan
In celebration of 414 Day, Milwaukee artist Sid Ylagan designed and installed a mural in the alley behind the Plankinton Arcade (TJ Maxx) at 161 W. Wisconsin Ave. Ylagan’s work was inspired by Grammy Award winner Grace Weber’s song, “414” featuring Mudy – another Milwaukee-born artist. The project was funded by Hempel Companies and Milwaukee Downtown, BID #21, and completed in spring of 2022.
