NEW TRANSIT SYSTEM SERVICE CHANGES TAKE EFFECT JANUARY 29, 2012
Milwaukee County Transit System is pleased to introduce the MetroEXpress. Made possible through a CMAQ grant, the new express service will offer three routes - RedLine (Capitol Drive), GreenLine (Bayshore-Airport) & BlueLine (Fond du Lac-National).
In addition, a number of actions were taken to reduce costs in other areas since decreasing bus service is always the last resort. Eliminations were trimmed to small segments which had the lowest ridership.
