Downtown Beer Gardens Serve Up Pints and Panoramas

The temperatures are warming up, people are heading outdoors, restaurants are opening their patios, and FINALLY beer gardens are returning! Downtown Milwaukee is a wonderful place to be during the warmer months thanks to it’s numerous beer gardens. From the Third Ward to the lakefront to Schlitz Park, there are a variety of summer staples to check out. Here’s the scoop on where to enjoy unparalleled views and brews. Cheers!

Third Ward Beer Garden
The Third Ward Beer Garden, located in Catalano Square, was the first to open in the area. It’s been operational since mid-April and will remain open through June, with live music every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday!

HOURS:
Wednesday – Friday: 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday: 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Sunday: 12 p.m. – 6 p.m.

The Tap Yard Beer Garden
The Tap Yard Beer Garden in Schlitz Park is just one of seven Tap Yard beer gardens in the area. The Milwaukee location, located at 1555 N. Rivercenter Dr., is open now through Labor Day.

HOURS:
Tuesday – Friday: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Saturday, Sunday, Holidays: 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

War Memorial Beer Garden
The War Memorial Beer Garden, located at 750 N. Lincoln Memorial Drive, opens Friday, May 24 and will operate every Tuesday – Sunday. Live music, good food, and of course, beer will all be on tap!

Tuesday – Sunday: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
